The conclusion to Zane and Dahlia's story.

The sexy Russian, Zane, has taken my heart, but kept his intact.
I never knew a man like him existed, let alone that I would become part of his life. A man who can make a girl's heart pound like a freaking drum by his presence alone. He's the reason for the madness my life has become.
The more we are together the more my heart and soul cries out for him.
Olga says I am the one for him if I can learn to fly.
Now I wake up each day with only one thought.
Fly Dahlia, Fly ...

Dahlia Fury was the perfect toy. Beautiful, sassy, sexy.
I thought I could immerse myself in her flesh. I didn't expect the taste of her sweet nectar to become a drug in my veins.
Now I'm fighting hard to keep control.
She has no idea that there's nothing more I want than to be with her. She carries a lamp into my darkness and makes me feel alive in ways I've never felt.
I can leave the life of crime and be anything I want to be, she tells me. Maybe she's right. Maybe all I need is a reason.
Maybe the reason is her ...

ARIANNA’s Review

Georgia Le Carre delivered an intriguing second installment filled with steam, intrigue, action and suspense that held my attention from start to finish. I really enjoy this author’s writing, so simple, yet so eloquent. Her characters that are always endearing and vividly portrayed. And trust me when I say that Zane and Dahlia were exactly that and more. I liked both of them in the first installment, but I loved them here. This book picks up right where the previous one ended.

“I don’t wait for anybody to give me what I want. I just take it. I wanted you and I took you.”

Dahlia found out what Zane did to have her in his life. Her anger doesn’t last much, because in some way she understands Zane’s reasoning. She’s falling for him hard and fast and all she wants is for Zane to love her back. Now that she knows what it means to be Zane’s woman she wants all of him. She doesn’t want to be just a body he uses for his pleasure, she wants to be his companion, his confidante, his lover.

“…even the most hardened criminal, has a soft spot in his heart. Maybe, just maybe I can be that soft spot in this man’s heart.”

Zane is reluctant to open up about his past, at least at first, but Dahlia is determined to make him realize that she really cares about him and together they can be more…that he can be more than just a Russian mobster.

“Do you know when your lips touch mine you make me feel like I am flying?”
His lips touch mine. “Then, fly Dahlia fly. Fly as high as you can.”

I really enjoyed this one! To be honest, I expected the story to be angstier, but I’m glad it isn’t since the suspense and drama make up for it. The story is intriguing and the romance between Zane and Dahlia is beautifully written and completely heartwarming at times. The story is really emotional in places. I loved those sweet and tender moments between Zane and Dahli. Their chemistry is palpable and the sex scenes between them are hot as hell.

Zene is sexy and powerful as ever, commanding and possessive and so very good for our heroine. I loved the way he was with her in and out of bed and how he started to trust and accept Dahlia as the story unfolded.

Overall, a wonderful conclusion to Zane and Dahlia’s story!
