This was a wonderful conclusion for not only Roman and Elisabeth but for Clare and Heath. It was actually more intense than the first book since all the characters are in danger.
After finishing Retrieval and the way it ended I was just counting down the days until I could finally get my hands on Transfer. I absolutely enjoyed the first book, especially Roman and his possessiveness. Yet Heath is the one who actually stole my heart. He was kind, thoughtful, and patient. The man is too good to be true.
“Can I have a hug?”
“You can have whatever you want from me, Clare. But you’re gonna have to come take it.”
The sexual tension is off the charts and I was just waiting until these two finally got together. And Heath did not disappoint, ladies. The man is HOT, HOT, HOT! My only complaint is that we don’t get to see much of their relationship. The romance aspect is still there, of course, just not as much as I was hoping for.
In spite of all that, I adored this book and the couples. I was rooting for all of them to finally get the happily ever after they deserved. And again, Aly didn’t disappoint because she gave me exactly what I wanted. This duet is not one you want to miss.
“A second later, Heath didn’t just take another broken piece of my soul—he took them all.
And I gave them freely, knowing only he had the power to put them back together.”
