Three is a War (Tangled Lies #3) by Pam Godwin

Three is a War Book Cover Three is a War
Tangled Lies Series #3
Pam Godwin
Fiction, Erotic Romance
August 29th 2017

Three means war.
Three sides vying for forever.

My first love.
The bad boy with the dangerous smile and passionate temper draws attention like a lit fuse on dynamite. But his dark molten eyes spark only for me.

My second chance.
Over six feet of Norse god in a tailored suit, he calculates every move and seizes my hungry breaths with an iron fist.

The free-spirited dancer, torn between two men with no resolution in sight.
I tried leaving, staying, refusing, and surrendering.
What options do I have left?

I love two men, and I do the only thing I can. I fight.

 Maria’s Review

And now the lovely conclusion…

Well, as you can see, this has been a very angsty book but… also very hot. And it couldn’t have been this hot without being such an emotional rollercoaster. It was necessary. 😀 So worth it. Loved this trilogy hard. Recommended to those who enjoy erotic romances with love triangles.

Finally, the conclusion for which we have been waiting with proverbial bated breath…

The BIG finale…

The book that ends it ALL…

The book where the BIG DECISION has to be made.

***insert foreboding background music***

Now, being that this book does center around said BIG decision…and being that I was pretty clear in my last review about what my preferred decision-ending would be…

I am go to keep this VERY vague so as to avoid tipping anyone off about what happens in this book.

Because, not only do I respect the ARC process, I respect your reading experience.

And I don’t want to take anything away from that.

Therefore, in order to keep this clean and not bust my spoiler wad…

I’m gonna endeavor to keep this short.

So here goes nothing…

This was quite the roller coaster of fictional uneasiness, peeps.
For me at least.

I mean, FUCK. I was surprised, then filled dread, anger, happiness, sadness, happiness again. Sadness again.

It was quite the bipolar read for me, I must say.

For serio, though.

This was me to start…

This was me at 20%…

At 40%…

At 50%…

At 60%…

At 70%…

At 80%…

And at 85% and on…

Exhausted le sigh.

First and foremost, I have to hand it to Pam Godwin though.

She managed to take one of my most loathed tropes – the love shape of doom – and make me…not hate it. In fact, dare I say it, I actually enjoyed the hell out of this series.

In fact, I think the way she handled this last book was pretty awesome.
She didn’t take the easy route here, folks, I’ll just say that.

Interpret that how you will.

That said.

This last installment reminds me why I am still just not a fan of the aforementioned love isosceles.

Because, no matter what, I feel like someone loses.
Someone gets left out.

Regardless though, if you told me that Pam Godwin was writing another one of these style series…another love triangle?

I would still be clicking the pre-order button.

So there’s that.

I also really loved the vignettes she had at the beginning of each chapter.
SUPER cute.

Anyway, I hope you all enjoy this series as much as I did.

And my people who waited to binge on all three at once:
Smart choice and I hope your gorge is fantabulous!Save
