Okay, here’s the thing, this cover…… Yes this cover completely won me. I mean seriously, can anyone say it’s not dreamy?????
This story is sweet, fun, sassy, and yes sexy!! We get introduced off the bat to Jax and Ashton, and their instant chemistry steams throughout the entire book.
Jax is hired to renovate Ashton’s grandmothers B&B and potentially make a TV show out of it, which would help cover cost of all the repairs that Ash is lacking. Jax isn’t looking for love, he definitely doesn’t want a relationship, he’d rather just simply play around with no strings attached.
Ashton is out looking for a little fun since walking in on her fiancé cheating on her, six months prior. She definitely isn’t looking for anything, let alone it’s known to everyone, she has no trust left to give a man. So when these two run into each other in the bar, the passion and chemistry sets them on fire and suddenly locking lips. Jax has to take care of a problem before taking this kiss and conversation any further, so he promises Ash he will be right back after running a quick errand. Yet, he never shows back up. Stood up and mad at herself for giving a guy a chance to hurt her again, she goes home.
So what happens when Jax shows up the next morning at Ash’s B&B as the man in charge of renovating her B&B.
Although Ashton drove me crazy a bit through this book, I throughly enjoyed this story. I loved the banter, I loved the connection these two share, I adored how much Jax cared for Ashton. It’s simply sweet, it’s adorable, and it’s definitely one you don’t want to miss ?
