No, part of a duet

She was never supposed to walk into my club.
But she did.

I shouldn’t have looked twice at her.
But I did.

The criminal underworld is no place for a girl like her.

One night with Katerina isn’t enough, but men like me can’t afford to be weak.
So, I tell her to leave me behind.

She does, but not before she sees something she shouldn’t.

When she goes into hiding, it’s my duty to hunt her down.
I have a job to do, and she needs to disappear for good.

But four years later, Kat isn’t alone anymore.
And the little boy right beside her looks just like me.

Tracey’s Review

My dark heart is beating a little bit faster with excitement. My two favourite mafia authors have come together and written a deliciously dark mafia duet with a secret baby thrown into the mix! Natasha Knight and A. Zavarelli are the queens of mafia romances, so when they joined up, I knew amazing things would happen and they did not disappoint, I was blown away with Mine.

The duo used their signature dark, sexy and addictive writing to create a world and characters that drew me in from the first page.

Our main characters Lev and Katerina had an instant connection that you could feel throughout the book. Their chemistry oozed of the pages and certainly got my pulse beating rapidly. While the world around them was dangerous, their attraction/love for each other was worth fighting for, no matter the cost.

I loved both characters from the get go, Lev, while is your alpha Russian leader he has a soft side, one that you got to see in her interactions with Kat but also their child. While he had a soft side, he was still one not to cross and once his family was threaten, you saw the dark side to his character break through.

Kat was a strong woman! She doesn’t need a man to protect her or her child, she’s shown the lengths she is willing to take to protect her and her child but underneath there is still that vulnerable girl who gave her heart to a dangerous man. The question is whether she is prepared to risk it all for the man she loves.

While I always enjoy Mafia romances, Mine was a book that I devoured and still thought about it well after that last page was finished. It was filled with passion and suspense with a cliff hanger that left me saying ‘WTF’. I am in desperate need of book two, His, to fill this dark beating heart. I would highly recommend Mine to any mafia lovers out there!!
