Idol by Kristen Callihan (Nancy)

Nancy’s Review

I am a huge fan of Kristen Callihan so when I heard about Idol I was really excited. Especially since it’s a rockstar romance.

Liberty Bell isn’t happy when she wakes up to a drunk man passed out on her lawn. She’s also not happy when she finds out he’s going to be her new neighbor. But when she finds out that her “lawn bum” is actually Killian James, lead singer and guitarist of a popular rock band, they end up forming a bond over music.

I loved the banter between these two. The sexual tension is off the charts. I liked how their relationship developed to more and it wasn’t immediately insta-love. The sex scenes were HOT!

Libby was a tough cookie. She had a huge heart but could be feisty when necessary. Killian is swoon-worthy and delicious. He says and does exactly what he wants. I enjoyed every moment Killian and Libby were together.

“You know what? Fuck it. Here’s the truth: I wasn’t happy—until I met you.”
“I’ve been here for nearly two months. I never stay in one play that long. And why do you think I’m still here? The scenery? No. It’s you I don’t want to leave.”

There wasn’t much drama and it was really low on angst. The secondary characters were amazing and I honestly can’t wait to read more about the Kill John members. We also get a preview for the next book in the series which I’m also excited for! I already know it’s going to be so good!

I recommend if you love a rockstar romance and if you’re a big fan of this author. It’s definitely a MUST read.
