I’m gonna be frank and just say that I didn’t love this book.
I know, I know, the sadz is strong with this one, Young Skywalker.
And believe you me, I have no idea how this freakin’ happened.
Nassir is one of the most interesting, dynamic characters I have come across in a long time and I was REALLY looking forward to his story.
And yet, this was me throughout probably 70% of the book:
In other words.
Val was suffering from a case of Bored Shitless-itis.
That’s a technical medical term right there, so I don’t blame you if you can’t follow along with my mad
WedMD legit medical knowledge.
But seriously, Naasir was still interesting.
And her vow of celibacy?
Let me repeat that:
No seriously, though.
How am I expected to work under these conditions, people?
Naasir’s story should have been all crazy sexy and action packed, and instead all I wanted to do was hit my fucking snooze button.
So much that happened here just seemed like filler, honestly.
Like Singh just needed a filler book to work up to the crux of the overarching Cascade story line.
That’s fine and dandy and all, but this was Naasir for shit sake.
Homie deserved some awesome.
Not a kinda, sorta lame quest to wake someone up, find a book, and only get laid maybe twice at 80% into the fucking book.
Now, the haps with Illium, Aodhan and whatever in the ever living fuq is marinating with Raphael?
I will definitely take some more of that ish.
I’m on the fence…Review to come…
Welcome to my kindle, bitch.
Oh my Gawd, I have been waiting forever for this one!
