The Law of Henna and Bodhi:
When love breaks, fall inward, fall together, and fall hard. Then let time pick up the pieces.

Everything feels temporary when you’ve experienced tragedy—until Henna Lane meets Bodhi at a music festival.

Young and spontaneous, they have a lust for seizing the moment, falling hard and fast.

When Bodhi is forced to leave without a goodbye, Henna thinks she’ll never get over him. But then she meets Mr. Malone, her sexy, new guidance counselor.

They are reckless.
They are forbidden.

When their secret is discovered, Henna has to choose between finishing school—banned from seeing Mr. Malone—or dropping out to follow her nomad dreams.

Henna chooses her dreams.

Over time, she learns that life is not a destination or a journey, some things are more than temporary, and the forbidden can never be ignored. But if she returns for him, will he still be hers?

A Place Without You is an emotional story of young love, shattered dreams, and impossible decisions.

Jenny’s Review

Jewel E. Ann, you have the talent to literally take over my heart with your writing.. You had my heart racing, then melting, then mad. You made it skip beats, with the sobbing I did. My heart, it got put through the ringer during this read but In the end, my heart thanks you for completely and utterly making it feel, feel so fricken happy, and full for the love of your stories!!

“Hey, I’m pretty sure you’re still my greatest memory.”
Full review to come…..when I can form my thoughts?

This book. I’ve sat and thought, how do I put this book into words. Simple, read this book and please don’t flash to the end to cheat. So amazingly written to me, it sucks you in and it literally holds you hostage until the end.

Bodhi & Henna, Henna & Bodhi, I cant say I’ve wanted a couple to be happy as I’ve wanted this much deserving couple to have that. Hands down, my heart fell in love, hard, with Henna & Bodhi. Bodhi & Henna. Henna & Bodhi. Still reeling from these two ?

Bodhi is dedicated to taking care of his physically challenged father from an accident and now battling cancer. He feels he doesn’t deserve happiness, definitely doesn’t deserve love, heck never looked for it. He simply does what he has to do to take care of his father and pay the bills. So when he meets Henna, what happens when she takes ahold of his heart, and won’t give it back. Here begins the journey of Bodhi & Henna.

Henna, fought death and won, so what better way to live it to its fullest by being happy, and carefree, and taking what you deserve. So when meeting and falling for an incredibly sexy man, how far will she go to be with him, stay in touch with him?

Without giving anything away about how much these two endure during this journey, be prepared for all the emotions. But, I promise, in the end, that journey comes to a remarkable end. I relished in the connection, the chemistry, the way this book flowed, and dang did I fall even more in love with the writing this author creates. Perfection!

About The Author:

Jewel is a free-spirited romance junkie with a quirky sense of humor.

With 10 years of flossing lectures under her belt, she took early retirement from her dental hygiene career to stay home with her three awesome boys and manage the family business.

After her best friend of nearly 30 years suggested a few books from the Contemporary Romance genre, Jewel was hooked. Devouring two and three books a week but still craving more, she decided to practice sustainable reading, AKA writing.

When she’s not donning her cape and saving the planet one tree at a time, she enjoys yoga with friends, good food with family, rock climbing with her kids, watching How I Met Your Mother reruns, and of course…heart-wrenching, tear-jerking, panty-scorching novels.
