➦Ok, so check this out. VISUALIZE THIS. You asked another chick for a ride from a bar because you’re too drunk to drive yourself. You saw this chick barely drank anything but, when she starts driving like a MANIAC, you realize she’s
➦Yeah, she’s on something. And then she crashes your car and bails into the woods and YOU get arrested. What would you do? I’ll tell you what I would do.
➦I mean, as long as soon as I find her. lol But since I’ll be in handcuffs I guess I’ll just do what the heroine of this novel did. Cuz that’s, like, more realistic.
➦But then, cuz I’m so totally FAB, a certain cop would come to my rescue. Except he’s not really as pleasant as he used to be back in the day. Still as hot though.
➦I know, it pleased me immensely too. But I’m not about to put a whole bunch of hot cop pics up again. I mean, been there, done that. Use your imagination 😀 So back to the point of this review. This cop gets the heroine to do 100 hours of community service. With him. Because, he’s sneaky.
➦If you like second chance stories and friends to lovers tropes with a bunch of flashbacks to the past (my fave) then give this one a look! The hero was a best friend of the heroine’s ex. So just a heads up, there is a “dead ex” but also the “I’m in a relationship with the wrong guy” situation. I didn’t mind any of it, but just fyi for anyone who might be sensitive to such things.
