This book in all honesty surprised me. I am not into murder mysteries, don’t care for dark suspense books all that much. I’m a sucker for the love, for the romance, and for the passion. This book doesn’t have much of it, although it does sizzle a bit in the background throughout the first 70%, it’s there, slowly brewing up, and then we finally get a kiss and eventually some more, then lots more. And by more, im saying it got good. This was a good book, I did enjoy it, just wish I got more, for my selfish needy needs cause I definitely love Arabella & Benton.
With saying this, this story kept my attention, I had my theories early on as to what the frush was happening in this mindfuck of a story. One murder after another, one suspect turned into another suspect, it kept spinning and crap kept happening, and goodness it was so quickly happening too. The writing kept you wanting to read on to find out what was next. This author does an amazing job at keeping you wanting more. I’m happy with the ending and how Arabella and Benton found their happiness. It was well deserved, I wish we could have gotten more into how they reached it all (that’s the love story obsessor in me🙋🏼♀️) but I enjoyed reading that they both got it.
I’m looking forward to hopefully getting more to the Kings, after all we’ve only seen the Elder get his HEA
