A full-length, standalone romance from the New York Timesbestselling author of Archer's Voice.

Grace Hamilton was the girl with a plan. She knew exactly where her life was going and prided herself on always achieving her goals. It was who she was, and how she lived her life. She never stepped outside the lines, and never considered what she might desire and whom she was actually trying so hard to please. Until him . . .

Carson Stinger was a man who didn't play by any rules except his own. Working in the adult entertainment industry, he didn't care what others thought, and took each day as it came, no direction, no plan. He knew what women wanted from him and believed it was all he had to offer. Until her . . .

When circumstances forced them to spend several hours together, they walked away changed. But for two people who never should have meshed, overcoming the reality of their vastly different lives wasn't possible. At least not yet . . .

Maria’s Review

➦This is a story about two people from completely different backgrounds who decide to spend a “no strings attached” weekend in Vegas. Carson is a porn star and Grace is a goody-goody law student who decides to let loose for one weekend and just have wild sex and whole lots of fun. Throughout the weekend there are secrets shared and both Carson and Grace can no longer deny that they want to be “more” to each other than a one night stand. But the situation is such that there is no possibility for them to be together because of Carson’s porn career and thus they go their separate ways but end up changing their lives drastically and for the best.

➦The rest of the book follows their separate lives and careers for a total of five years until they are re-united. This is where it all went downhill for me because the circumstances around their reunion were somewhat hard for me to connect with, there was this whole bunch of criminal activity going on with Carson and I just didn’t think it was necessary to add all that stuff into the book. I would have preferred them to be reunited when Carson went looking for Grace. After all he changed his life and he was still in love with her.

➦Overall this was a pretty enjoyable read, the book kept me interested almost until the end… almost, but not quite. The end of the book was boring for me.
