➦This, hands down, is the best book about BDSM that I’ve ever read. C.D. Reiss did a stellar job making this story incredibly erotic and complex without it being over the top kinky. This novel explores the subject on a psychological level and has one thing I dearly crave in my reads – in depth character development. It’s all about the two people and their relationship and the things that make them tick.
➦He now talks to you in a new commanding voice. He says he knows you’re a submissive in the bedroom. You’re angry and confused but turned on.
❤I absolutely loved the characters in this novel. Adam was so complex that I wanted to crawl into his head and explore until I found out everything about him. 🙂 Why wouldn’t he dominate his wife if he knew from the start that she had submissive tendencies? You will be sure to fund out after reading this novel. Give it a chance!➦This is a two book series. So while a lot of questions do get answered there’s still a long journey ahead. I’m practically jumping out of my seat to get my paws on the second installment. I can’t wait!
About the Author
CD Reiss is a USA Today and Amazon bestseller. She still has to chop wood and carry water, which was buried in the fine print. Her lawyer is working it out with God but in the meantime, if you call and she doesn’t pick up, she’s at the well, hauling buckets.
Born in New York City, she moved to Hollywood, California to get her master’s degree in screenwriting from USC. In case you want to know, that went nowhere, but it did give her a big enough ego to write novels.
Critics have dubbed the books “poetic,” “literary,” and “hauntingly atmospheric,” which is flattering enough for her to put it in a bio, but embarrassing enough for her not to tell her husband, or he might think she’s some sort of braggart who’s too good to chop a cord of wood.
If you meet her in person, you should call her Christine.
