Find out what happens when you give six authors the SAME blurb and they write their OWN story.

The blurb:

You know those people that have a house full of motivational slogans? Embrace Every Moment, stamped on their coffee mugs. Always Kiss Me Goodnight painted above their perfectly made beds.

I’m not one of those people.

This morning I overslept, then slipped on a stray sock and banged my toe into the nightstand. The elevator in my building broke and I had to run down six flights of stairs. And then my local coffee shop was closed. For health code violations.

What’s that? Not the end of the world? You want me to suck it up?

Did I mention I’m wearing a wedding dress… on the subway?

It’s a Good Day for a Hot Mess.

Someone embroider that on a pillow.

Megan’s Review

Love in Transit is possibly the most unique idea for a story or should I say stories, I have every come across or had the privilege of reading. What happens when you give six authors the same blurb and they all write their own take on the story? An amazing anthology that just worked, that’s what…

So this anthology is made up of six authors with six different takes on the blurb; they are Jana Aston Time Square, Ainsley Booth St. George Station aka Personal Escort – a Billionaire Secrets story, Kitty French The Hammersmith & City Line, BJ Harvey The Loop, Raine Miller Capitol South, Liv Morris Wall Street Station. I’m not going to go into all the intricate details of the plot of all the short stories, because I went in completely blind and I believe that is the best way to experience this unique concept.

To be honest I have never been a huge fan of anthologies or short stories for that matter as I don’t always feel the writing flows well. Often I finish feeling somewhat underwhelmed and the stories and character development feels really rushed. However, I never once felt that way with any of the above mentioned stories. The characters and stories were developed well and I didn’t feel I was missing something.

If you are looking for a unique take on storytelling then definitely give this one a go. I was really in the mood for something unlike anything else I had read before and I’m so glad I chose this. SERIOUSLY CHECK THIS ONE OUT…
