Brant:
Became a tech billionaire by his twentieth birthday. Has been in a relationship with me for 3 years.
Has proposed 4 times. Been rejected 4 times.

Lee:
Cuts grass when he’s not banging housewives. Good with his hands, his mouth, and his cock. Has been pursued relentlessly by me for almost 2 years, whether he knows it or not.

Go ahead. Judge me. You have no idea what my love entails.

If you think you’ve heard this story before, trust me – you haven’t.

Maria’s Review

➦This book definitely kept me reading. The hero has a big secret and you will be told about it repeatedly and you will be frantic to find any clues as to what it might be. The author also tries to confuse you at times so you keep wondering if your initial guess was correct or not. I kept switching my theories about where the story was going. Definitely not your typical romance story. Overall, I liked it, I just didn’t love it. It happens 🙂

➦One of the biggest problems I had with this book is that I felt like this while reading it:

(don’t worry the reporter was hit by snow but not harmed!)

➦I was plowing through this book at 50 m/hr, all I wanted was to find out what the secret was.
In my opinion, this took away from the story, I was almost skimming through the sex scenes, or may be I was just reading super fast. But with doing that I felt very little emotion.

➦I needed more character development of the heroine. I first though she was crazy, then I thought she was strong but in the end one paragraph made me hate her.

➦Lastly, other big problems I had with this book were plot gaps and logistics. I know the author exaggerated some things to make for a more interesting read but it just made me feel less connected to the story and left me asking questions.
