This book was heart wrenching and at times uncomfortable, and, while I am giving it a 5 star rating, I think it will fall into the category of “loved it but will never re-read” kind of book. I don’t think I want to put myself through this angst fest again :S
While the struggle with infertility isn’t something I’m familiar with, I was able to understand the emotions the heroine of this book was going through. A lot of other aspects of the story, specifically the issues some people go through in their marriage, I could definitely relate to. These characters made me feel for them and I was a mess by the end of the book just wishing for them to talk it out and live their happily ever after.
No marriage is perfect… I think Colleen Hoover explains it perfectly in this book. If you’re looking for an emotional rollercoaster of a story – do pick this one up. I listened to the audiobook and it was excellent, definitely recommend.
